The Enneagram

Enneagram & Conflict

Enneagram and Accompaniment Poster

USING THE LEVELS OF DEVELOPMENT, FIXATIONS & PASSIONS, and THE HARMONICS IN HANDLING CONFLICTS

The Levels of Development are a measure of the degree of our capacity to be present. The higher the level, the more present we are and we experience greater freedom from our fixated patterns. The lower the level, the more we are ruled by the passion and thus, more fixated in our thinking.

On the other hand, the Harmonics indicate how we cope when we do not get what we want. It reveals the fundamental ways that our personality defends against loss and disappointment. In conjunction with the Levels of Development, the Harmonics can be a very helpful and useful tool in handling conflicts and opens up ways for resolving conflicts creatively.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

This six-day webinar is designed for anyone who already knows the Enneagram and its dynamics and wants to know how they can use the
Enneagram—particularly the Levels of Development, the Fixation and Passion of each type, and the Harmonics—in handling conflict situations and possible ways of resolving conflicts creatively. The Enneagram provides us with a way when we feel stuck with somebody where we can’t seem to come together in some sense. It can help us step out of our own habitual way of responding, tune into the person we are with and show up with them in a way that works for both.

More specifically, the webinar will enable the participants to:

  1. Know what conflict situations we apply the Enneagram;
  2. Gain clarity about the Fixation and Passion/Shadow of each type; how these manifest in one’s life and how the shadows are the personality’s attempt to evoke or create the type’s essential qualities;
