Life is a sacred narrative authored by God. This retreat invites participants to pause, reflect, and rediscover how God has been writing their story through moments of joy, loss, courage, and grace. Inspired by The Designated Route, it is a contemplative journey of self-awareness and faith. Our stories are stories of faith and their sacred stories point to God.
Only God understands our stories fully because it was God who allowed the context by which the story unfolded. Seeing how God unfolds our sacred stories is very much life giving because of the clarity of how God works in our lives. As we see our circumstances, we see God helping, God caring, God providing, God forgiving, God merciful, God full of grace, God understanding, God being fare and just. And much much more about God. For the person undergoing the retreat to look at what God reveals to him/her in the quiet can heal areas of their lives that have remained unhealed, can give the person a chance to grieve and regret losses that may never be recovered, may discover their 2nd chances confirming God goodness and provisions.
In writing how God has written your story, we receive and benefit much by being quiet with God as we receive the whispers of the one who knows us. The one who created us, accompanied us through the journey of unfolding, with all the drama of valleys and mountaintops, wrong turns and times of being lost. There is a good that will fruit out of that life. It would be great to find it.
